Kingstad Companies is committed to ensuring that ContentOps is accessible to people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and platform in conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Our Commitment

We believe that all people, regardless of ability, should have equal access to our platform. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is built into our development process.

Conformance Status

ContentOps is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively addressing known issues.

Accessibility Features

Our website and platform currently include:

• Skip navigation links — keyboard users can skip directly to main content
• Keyboard navigability — all interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
• Visible focus indicators — clear visual focus rings on all interactive elements
• Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (nav, main, footer)
• ARIA labels — descriptive labels on navigation and interactive elements
• Color contrast — text meets or exceeds 4.5:1 contrast ratio (WCAG AA)
• Text resizing — content is readable when text size is increased up to 200%
• No auto-playing media — no videos or audio that play automatically
• No seizure-inducing content — no flashing content that exceeds 3 flashes per second
• Language attribute — page language is declared for screen readers
• Responsive design — accessible on mobile, tablet, and desktop

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that need improvement and are actively working on them:

• Some complex data visualizations (usage charts) may not have full text alternatives yet
• The carousel/slide preview feature may have limited screen reader support — text alternatives are provided
• Some drag-and-drop functionality (Kanban board) is not yet keyboard-accessible — we plan to add keyboard alternatives

Technologies Used

ContentOps is built with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. We rely on the following accessibility features of these technologies:

• WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) roles and properties
• HTML5 semantic elements (nav, main, section, article, footer)
• CSS focus-visible for keyboard navigation indicators

Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility request, you may contact the relevant enforcement authority. In the United States, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov.

Assessment Approach

Kingstad Companies assesses the accessibility of ContentOps through:

• Self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
• Automated testing using browser-based accessibility audit tools
• Manual keyboard navigation testing
• Color contrast verification against WCAG 4.5:1 AA standard

We plan to conduct a formal third-party accessibility audit in 2026 and will update this statement with the results.
